Halberstadt started with helping tour operators and mid-sized travel companies become more successful online with marketing and SEO. In recognizing everything changed with the launch of generative AI, Halberstadt was able to launch a virtual tour guide of galapagos from the perspective of <a href=\"https:\/\/mytrip.ai\/chatdarwin\/\">Charles Darwin<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In discussing AI in travel, Halberstadt explains how AI enables more cost effective communication and customer service, but two crucial elements still apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There\u2019s a race to initiate a relationship with the customer&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Whoever helps the customer first usually wins<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now with GenAI, the cost to help customers has dropped to pennies if done correctly, although quality control and guard rails still take time to set up.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, they discuss the benefits of setting up agents for specific tasks and interlinking them seems to be the ideal approach.
