AI in Travel for 2024: Less Artificial, More Intelligent, Deeply Personal

As we chart TravelAI’s course into 2024 and embrace a year filled with new possibilities, we see a global travel landscape that’s less artificial, more intelligent, and deeply personal.

We believe one of the core questions of the new year is: “How do we cope with a future where AI is at the helm?” At TravelAI, we’re excited for what comes next as we continue to craft worthy travel experiences that are not just personalized but are truly inspiring. We are committed to helping share stories and our experiences in the use of AI in travel, whether via podcasts, community contributors, or our own experiences.

On the podcast front, we’ve sponsored Tony Carne of Everything AI in Travel to create some amazing content, including podcasts: the initial four episodes are now published on the TravelAI website, and include great conversations with:

Shie Gabbai of Roam Around
Fred Chanut of In Marketing We Trust
Christian Watts of Magpie.Travel
Jeff Kischuk of Tripian

Why are we doing this? We believe that AI is the most transformative technology of our generation, and the travel industry (which is the world’s largest, employing over 10% of the global workforce and soon to be worth USD$15 Trillion (Source: WTTC Data).

For those of us in the travel industry, we need to work together to use this technology to create better travel experiences that are more efficient for all participants.

When you have more efficient travel, the costs can come down allowing people to travel more: into all economies. And when more people travel, the world becomes a better place as we grow closer together.
